What is hypnosis ?

Hypnosis or hypnotherapy is a mild method that allows exploring the unconscious. It allows the unconscious to find its solutions by using inner resources. The person stays aware of what is happening in the room, they are not sleeping. It is not possible to hypnotize somebody against their will. In fact, you will keep your free will throughout the hypnosis session.

What happens during a hypnosis session ?

It is rare that during the first appointment, the hypnotherapist practices hypnosis. In general, during the first session you explain the reasons why you want to resort to hypnosis. This first appointment is important because it is the moment when the hypnotherapist analyzes the situation and sees if hypnotherapy is practicable for your situation. Then the hypnotherapist establishes with you the objectives to reach as well as the frequency of the appointments.


In every session, it is possible that the hypnotherapist assesses the evolution and redefines the objective.
